how to stop overthinking

Stop Overthinking Immediately:

Overthinking doesn't sound so bad on the surface--thinking is good, right?

Yes, even our motto says Think, Learn, Enjoy…

       But Overthinking cause problems.

Overthinking is something that can happen to anyone. But if you have a great system for dealing with it you can at least ward off some of the negative, anxious, stressful thinking and turn it into something useful, productive, and effective.

In one study, 32,827 people from 172 countries showed that life events were the largest predictors of stress, followed by family history, income and education, relationship status, and social inclusion. When you overthink, your judgments get cloudy and your stress gets elevated. You spend too much time in the negative. It can become difficult to act.

Whatever it is, we can overcome. Follow these steps to live a peaceful life

1. BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH NATURE.

If you are a person who follows a machine life then you need this the most because nature gives you a pleasant feel, Healthier breath, Relaxation etc.

So you must take the time to get out in nature. This is not what am saying to go sit in a mountain and view the nature its very simple, Just go to a park have your lunch there or plan a vacation to get away from this machine life while talking using phones go near a tree or walk along the road or park.

I’m damn sure that if you are strengthening the bond with nature then it will greatly benefit your mind and stop overthinking immediately.

EXAMPLES: You can focus on the beauty in the trees, a leaf, a waterfall, the sky, mountains, a lake or whatever you gravitate towards. This will immediately stop your mind. When you allow yourself to do this, you will find that you will think more clearly throughout the day.

2.AWARE ABOUT YOURSELF.

Before you can begin to address or cope with your habit of overthinking, you need to learn to be aware of it when it's happening.

Any time you find yourself doubting or feeling stressed or anxious, step back and look at the situation and how you're responding. At that moment, awareness is the seed of the change you want to make.

If you have pointed your reason of overthinking doesn’t sit simple try to engage yourself in different works like shopping, workout, and playing, singing, listening music some more…

3. REPEAT PEACEFUL WORDS TO YOURSELF.

Concentrate your brain at this moment what we are thinking about mostly? Most probably you can notice that majorly you think what we have to do today or for our future or someone sayings made you worried or angry, or even degrading thoughts about yourself. Surely everyone will do the same because I also used to do the same!!!

Don’t feel bad, it is a common thing.

It is very difficult to change the negative thoughts around you immediately. However, you can actually counter the negative words and overthink with the repetition of peaceful words.

Anytime you notice that you are overthinking or you feel anxiety or worry stop those thoughts in their tracks by saying calm words like Peace, Love, Light, It’s ok, Life is good, I’m ok, All is well etc.,

While this isn’t completely quieting your mind, it does stop overthinking and will allow your mind to slow down and focus on what really matters in this moment. Words carry a lot of meaning and power, so use them to make you free whenever you feel stressed out.

My favorite phrases I used most while I stressed out are ‘you can, nothing is bigger than you’, ‘you faced the hardest part then why you should fear’, ‘and nothing is permanent.

4.MEDITATE.

I suggest meditation with my own experience. When you meditate, you can stop the flow of overthinking and negative thoughts bombarding your consciousness every second, and instead move into space where stillness takes precedence.

While you don’t have to turn off your brain to meditate, many people feel that their thoughts slow down incredibly and overthinking stops immediately.

If you try it and find you still cannot stop thinking, try a guided meditation or yoga. These practices bring awareness into the body and make it much easier to cope with daily challenges.

5. THINK WHAT CAN GO RIGHT NEITHER WHAT CAN GO WRONG?

Most of the cases overthinking are caused by a single emotion-FEAR. When you focus on all the negative things that might happen, it's easy to become paralyzed. Be careful about your emotions.

Your emotions can make you fly high at the same time it cuts your wing also.

After reading this post next time you sense that you starting to spiral in that direction, please say stop to youself. Visualize all the things that can go right and keep those thoughts present and up front.

6. BE OPEN TO SHARE AND BE GRATEFUL.

You can't have a regretful thought and a grateful thought at the same time, so why not spend the time positively? Every morning and every evening, make a list of what you are grateful for. Get a gratitude buddy and exchange lists so you have a witness to the good things that are around you.

If you want to stop overthinking and cultivate more peace in your life, these habits done consistently will bring that. There are 1,440 minutes in a day; take at least 10 minutes a day for one or all of these activities. You will find that overall, you will do less overthinking and feel more relaxed. In turn, you will be even more productive.

Overcome your shyness and Share your feelings emotions with your trusted one or lovable person or with your friends, relatives, family members. Don’t bother that they are listening to you or not you just open it will make you feel better.

This post was created by reading my inner voice. If you find it useful then follow and shine successfully.
