Accept yourself

You are wonderful!  You are awesome!!

The very first step is you have to completely accept your own personality, do not compare yourself to anyone. then work on your personality.

See my friend, nobody in this world is one hundred percent perfect in nature, everything comes through practice and continues engagement with certain activities.

So, no matter who you are or how you are, just accept yourself, start feeling confident and you will be able to overcome shyness.

Find your audience

 Identify your right audience.

Imagine you performing on the stage, maybe you are acting or singing or giving a presentation.

you need to start focusing on people how are interested in listening to your performance.

Pick those people from the audience, keep focusing on them and overcoming your shyness with them first.

So, you feel comfortable to talk with people who understand you completely, then, slowly you will be able to talk to strangers as well.

Don't compare yourself to others

Juice of an orange and an apple is not the same but each of these is unique in color, taste, and sweetness but you can't deny most of us like both the taste right!.

So, the third important tip is, stop comparing yourself to people who already doing well. try to learn that everyone is unique in the world. you can't compare you're ability or skillset with other.

Don't put yourself down, don't compare yourself, if at all you notice a single personality flaw in yourself.

Overcoming shyness just comes in the way of respecting yourself, loving yourself, and realizing that you are really unique.

Break your barrier

Shy persons feel comfortable and safe to live in their shell. But you need to break out of it.

If you really want to overcome shy nature. for example, a shy person usually not to go to certain places where their lot of people or do not attend certain parties or public gathering. now slowly, you need to come out of your shell and start attending events.

If you make habit of talking to strangers of socializing, slowly, slowly you will adapt to it, your nature will adapt to it and before you know it, you will be out of your shell and you won't be shy anymore.

Concentrate on your posture

No one interested to listen to a person with posture like nervous, restless, timid, and worried.

If you really want to overcome your shyness, make sure you paying attention to your posture.

If your shoulders are slouching, if you are appearing timid,  naturally people will consider you to not be confident. people will think you are shy and you don't like people and they are not going to approach you.

So, whenever you address the public gathering, straighten your spine, pull back your shoulder, stand straight, and feel confident.

When you appear like that, people will take you seriously and you will start feeling more confident than you are and over a period of time, you will start enjoying that feeling of confidence, you will start enjoying.

Don't give up

Finally, when starting this activity, at the beginning this all being awkward to you, you may feel uncomfortable.

Remember one thing, when we were being a child, we learned everything by doing mistakes then got it right with the help of our parents and others after a while. it is same to any attempt to learn new thing to do in your life.

So, do not give up, if at all any mistakes, awkwardness, rejection or discomfort with certain people.
